Our general guide is to allow 30% of the width of the window as space for the open curtains to hand when open.

Straight Poles

For straight poles, just measure the width of your window, and multiply it by 1.3.

Bay Window Poles

For your bay window poles, we need the total length of the finished (bent) pole to calculate the price. The measurement doesn't need to be totally precise at this stage as we'll contact you for more detailed measurements after you've place the order. 

The easiest way to measure for a bay window pole is to use masking tape - simply stick where you expect the pole to go, then remove it and measure it. If you don't have any tape to hand, you can measure each section individually and add them together.
