Why do we only sell Silent Gliss wave tracks?

Quite simply because Silent Gliss are the ‘original and best’. Engineered in the UK to exceptionally high standards, Silent Gliss wave tracks are built to last and come with a five year warranty.

How to choose a wave curtain track

There’s a few things to consider when choosing a wave curtain track. Once you know what you’re looking for, you can use the filters below to narrow down the options.

Track Operation

Hand drawn tracks are most popular, but we do recommend using a curtain draw rod to keep your curtains looking their best.

For heavier curtains, wide windows, or where access is limited, corded tracks are a more suitable option.

For the ultimate convenience and ease of operation choose the SG 5600, the world's leading motorised wave curtain track.

Curtain Weight

All the wave-compatible tracks in the Silent Gliss range are suitable for light to medium weight curtains. If you have particularly heavy curtains, be sure to chose an appropriate track which will be made from a more robust profile and consider upgrading to wave roller gliders.

Track Colour

The profiles are powder-coated white or anodised aluminium as standard. The most popular systems are also available in black with matching components. White tends to be the most popular colour as it blends in with the ceiling.

Track Profile

The track profiles come in range of forms to suit your personal preference - square, oval, rectangular and funnel-shaped.

Track Fixture

Most of the wave compatible tracks can be fitted to either the wall or ceiling, with some models being specifically made for recess fitting.

Wave Curtain Tracks: A Sleek and Modern Window Treatment

Elevate your windows with the stunning wave curtain design.

Wave curtains tracks, introduced by Silent Gliss, offer a contemporary alternative to traditional curtain headings like pleats. This innovative system creates a smooth, continuous wave effect that adds a touch of sophistication and style to any room.

Here's what makes wave curtain tracks special:

  • Modern Look: The clean lines and uniform waves create a sleek, minimalist aesthetic perfect for contemporary spaces.
  • Space Saving: Wave curtains stack back neatly, maximizing light and minimizing bulk, ideal for wide windows or patio doors.
  • Versatility: Wave curtains can complement both modern and traditional interiors. They can even be made to measure as custom bent bay window curtain tracks.
  • Easy Operation: The wave curtain track system glides effortlessly, and optional draw rods allow you to open and close the curtains without touching the fabric.

Choosing the Right Wave Curtains:

  • Fabric Selection: Wave curtains work best with lightweight to medium-weight fabrics like voiles, lined cottons, and blackout linings. Stiffer fabrics, heavy embellishments, and irregular stripes may not drape as effectively.
  • Wave Size: Silent Gliss offers wave gliders in two sizes: 60mm and 80mm. The choice depends on your preference. With 60mm gliders, you get more, shallower waves, while 80mm creates fewer, deeper waves.
